Manila Water, Maynilad won’t pursue payment from gov’t

“Susunod po kami sa kagustuhan ng gobyerno at ng Pangulo (We will comply with the wishes of the government and the President),” Manila Water president and chief executive officer (CEO) Jose Almendras on Tuesday said. Maynilad President and CEO Ramoncito Fernandez also said “Susunod po kami sa kagustuhan ng gobyerno at ng Pangulo (We will comply with the wishes of the government and the President).”

Resigning as ICAD co-chair is up to Robredo: Palace

Pres. Duterte earlier opted to give Robredo a Cabinet rank, but later on changed his mind, as he acknowledged that Robredo, whom he called a “scatterbrain” with “kneejerk” impulses, is leading the opposition and seeking advice from foreign entities who are critical of the Philippines’ drug war.

P40.8-M shabu seized from Filipina passenger in NAIA

A Filipina passenger was arrested by joint operatives of NAIA Inter-Agency Drug Interdiction Task Group (IADITG) for attempting to smuggle 6 Kilograms of Methamphetamine hydrochloride popularly known as shabu, with a street value estimated at Php 40.8-million upon arrival at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) on Friday morning (November 8, 2019).
